 This imagery is from Wisconsin or Minnesota and is painted with quality Vasari oil colors on linen.  I was inspired by the plein air painters of the French school including Corot, Monet, Pissarro, and Bonnard.  I believe the landscape has to be experienced by the artist and prefer to work from life.
